    When to plant???

You can plant as early as you want provided there is no more chance of freezing. Planting real early doesn't really give you much bigger plants, since they don't really start growing anyway until it warms up some. Try May 22. Seeds germinate best in soil that is 92 degrees.

I try for around mid may. I live in BC also. Just watch the weather chan and keep an eye on temps and when sun up and sun down is etc... Harvest is around late sept-mid oct to late oct for our region. Depends on strain/flowering time.

    GL next year.

If you already have a spot picked out, now wouldn't be a bad time to do all the back breaking labor of preparing the intended grow area.

For around here best time to prep would have to be after winter or april ish "before everything starts to grow agian". Right now everything is so grown in and thick "depends on area you might grow in also" might be harder to clear out your spot. But just after winter you can clear stuff out much more easy with all the dead leafs branches etc..Makes stuff alot easyer, plus having that bare open spot thats all cleard out untill next season might draw unwanted attention from above. Best bet is scout out that spot now and pay attention to how the sun moves in the sky and try to pick a spot that gets at least 5-7 hours direct sunlight and mid day sun "meaning 1-4 pm. These times are when the sun is at its "max" "highest points its reaches in sky are mid day" and it produces the light we as growers want.

GL next year mang BC weather eh
