Sometimes I feel like drinking wine, and sometimes I feel like drinking beer. But I rarely feel like drinking the two mixed together.

I know most people like growing several strains for their own use, though I guess I can't speak for medical growers.

I have heard that you can splice branches of MJ onto other plants but they might not produce bud. My idea is that you splice 3 branches from different strains (with similar eating habits) onto a fourth mature female. You label the different branches and end up with a single mother plant with 4 different clone genetics. You would probably have to have a larger plant to get enough cuttings from it. It Rating: 5

Reminds me of a cocktail fruit tree. I would be hesitant to put all my eggs into one basket, and have one plant contain all of my genetical material. I have had plants mysteriously die before, or freak accidents happen, and if your one mother dies, it hurts even worse. If you have multiple mother plants, you run a lot lower risk of losing all of them at once. I recently was very close to such a disaster, my main mother plant died back 3/4 of the way after being stored in a car all day due to a sudden emergency. I almost have the thing back to health, and have several new plants started, but that experience really showed me how suddenly you can potentially lose your crop.
