need some help on 2 of my plantsMy suggestion (unless your backyard happens to be INSIDE your house :wtf Originally Posted by puffdatshit Originally Posted by puffdatshit is to bring them inside and manipulate the photoperiod yourself. :stoned: is to bring them inside and manipulate the photoperiod yourself. :stoned:

Otherwise... wait until Mother Nature does it for you. She is stubborn but efficient

Yeah... other than that... maybe buy some buds and tape them to your plant?

need some help on 2 of my plantsAs far as I know, flowering outdoors is all up to the Sun...

I'm not sure there is anything you can do to make it bud at any point in time

To keep them short you might want to search LST or Bush growing...just make sure your plants aren't too old or you could cause severe stress causing them to hermie

Read a lot here, it'll tells us all what we need to know, we just have to find it

need some help on 2 of my plantsThat means that they HAVE started budding. Originally Posted by puffdatshit Originally Posted by puffdatshit

Actually, you can manipulate the photoperiod with a "tent"
IF, there's no way your neighbors can scope it, even if they have to lean out the window or climb up onna roof.

Put 4 stake inna ground, wrap a cheap wallyworld silver tarp around 'em. Zip a flap on the top, set a timer and go cover dat pup at the same time every evening.
Might have to FIM or top or LST to thwart da stretch as well/.
 <sigh>
 Ya know what?
Screw it. Too much like work, and risky to boot.
Mo' betta, cut some clones and gettum inside where you can :weedpoke:, in relative safety

 The metal1 givum good advice

 Best of luck.

need some help on 2 of my plantsI would say to put a stake in the ground and use a coat hanger and do some bending on the tops to keep shorter. Im surprised you would grow outside if your neighbors watch you do everything. Thats sketchy

need some help on 2 of my plantsJust put em back outside. they won't get near the light intensity needed for hard nugs if left up to a window to provide light...very bad idea!

Mine have been outside since May and they're now flowering all by themselves. budding is usually visable by aug 1st for most strains, mid-august for the rest...but showing sex is always much earlier. They are usually sexually mature at around 6-8 weeks (an excellent sign of maturity is when "alternating branching" is well underway) and most will show sex by then.

need some help on 2 of my plantsWHAT? No!!
Never top a plant in flower. EVER. This will KILL your final yield and possibly also stress the plant into turning hermaphrodite!
