unfortunately this isn't the club's fault either. If a customer goes into a business and requests something specific, then the business is going to sell it to you unless they're trying to push another product that is similar. You can argue that good customer service is providing the customer what they ask for, or you could argue that the club should of made recommendations, BUT I don't think you walked in there and explained your whole story about your medical needs and your attempts in trying balance available funds and quantity of meds. Basically they gave you what you asked for...so maybe the title of this thread should be "ripped off by co-op, but they have GREAT customer service because the customer is always right at this place."

In all seriousness, I'm sorry you didnt get what you needed, but you did get what you wanted. I've learned the hard way myself too and looking back, the lesson really was worth the money I lost. Its worth it to invest the time in yourself to get this all figured out so that it never happens again and you maximize your buying power. Don't be so hard on youself either. It would of been nice if the club employee had suggested the better deal to you on the real buds, but I've also known people to have been burned by rude customers who say things like "look buddy, just give me what i asked for." If you've been satisfied with the meds from that club and enjoyed going there in the past, its worth it to give them another shot.

I just ran into a similiar situation the last time I went to my usual club. They have a much better price break on halves. I like to mix it up a bit and usually get a 1/4 of 2 different strains and pay whatever a half of the higher priced strain is. On my last visit, they had a new guy working there and he charged me separately on the two 1/4's. My condition doesn't affect my ability to do math so immediately I was like woah, that sounds too high to me. The guy apologized, talked to his boss and it all got straightened out within 1 minute and I still think their customer service is great.
MedicineIsGood Reviewed by MedicineIsGood on . Ripped off by a co-op You know what I hate more then being ripped off is being ripped off due to my own stupidity! Donā??t let this happen to you. I am not going to name the co-op where this happened at, I feel I was ripped off as much from their dishonesty as my own stupidity and to get bogged down talking about a specific co-op would defeat my purpose. We all need to be careful consumers. So I went to a co-op that has a ton of good comments from patients a solid reputation and where I have been happy with Rating: 5
