I think we may have found an HPS answer. I know you said you had problems with heat, but you could air cool this thing.

Yeah I've been looking at that one for quite a while now, but still I'm pretty skeptical about the heat.

Now, if you buy it and try it out and it turns out that the heat isn't as big of a problem as I think it will be, I'll think about buying one.

Bomb, I think im taking it back about the heat issue. I think it would be alot of heat. i spoke to the seller and they said heat isnt an issue. but i am still skeptical. Im actually thinking about making a cooltube out of a Pyrex bake a round. Then just buying either (from HTG) the whole setup of 250 watt and just incorporate the cooltube aspect. Or build a full cool tube including the bulb adapter, cord(DIY Cool Tube *Step by Step* - Grasscity.com Forums):sorry1Im not spamming) and the HTG build a ballast and put the ballast in a metal box with rubber linning.

Bombdiggity, Im officialy an HPS User, ordered all my equipment today. Time to get those buds Dense. I let you know on heat, i ordered a Lumatek digital 250 watt ballast and am doing the DIY cool tube.

Wow I'm excited for you anbesol. I can't wait to see what you can do with them. I also cant wait for you to tell me that you dont have heat problems, that way I can go ahead and buy one too!! But for now I just ordered a t8 two bulb system for side lighting. I figured now is a good time to add a little more lumens underneath her canopy!

Which brings me to.....

Flowering Day 31

Lights just came on, so I took some pics! I just looked back at my previous grow and I've realized that I am a good week or so behind schedule. The plants at this point are devleoping fast but it took a while for her to start producing flowers. Hopefully she'll finish in tiem for my trip October 10th!!!

She is Looking so Nice. The Buds are starting to form nicely... This plant seems to look bigger and healthier then your last grow. The Agree the T8 will do a nice amount of lumens to the side. I just hooked a vanity light with cfl's at the bottom for mine. How many lumens does it say it will put off? Im really excited about the HPS, now im just wondering what do with the T5's I dont need 2 for veg. and if i want to use a 250 watt Mh light for veg i could since its a digital. What do you think Bomb?
