You stopped reading too soon. In the next sentence after your quote of me stops I say, "Plus I vaporize, so I know that the hit is pretty much pure THC/CBN goodness."

I'll sum up my post again. I hold in vapor hits as long as I can, because there is no tar in them. I don't hold in smoke hits at all (even for 5 seconds) because they have tar and carcinogens in them. When I smoke, I blow it out immediately.

I still think it is a myth that all the THC in smoke is absorbed after 5 (or however many) seconds. If you hold in smoke longer, you'll absorb more of the drug that is in the smoke. There is no reason to believe all the THC is absorbed before the smoke. Holding smoke in has benefits and detriments. The benefit is that you absorb more THC. The problem with holding smoke in is that you also absorb more of the tars and poisons. That's why I usually vaporize.

I like variations...sometimes I will open up both corners of my mouth and let 2 slow trails of smoke come out on each sides...I call it the dragon breath, haha.
