soil consistancy/best blend?
I am having very good luck with most of my plants but need some advice on soil for new babies. Should it be heavy mulch or should it pack down? I seem to be getting the right nutrient mix because I have good green growth with very little or now discolor but some of my plants seem to just wither and die when the same set up on another does great. Any ideas?

you dont want tight and packed at all man...mix in a good bit of perlite...you will find 15 different formulas, and most of em are fine...I would go with 1 part perlite to 3 parts soil....should keep it airy enough for ya...
but do some research and find what you think suits your needs....
good luck

Any light, fine textured, UNFERTILIZED seedling starting mix is fine.
