There are raids in Colorado. There are dispensaries but they seem few and far between. My caregiver there is working on opening one in the Boulder. They plan a very discreet, serve only their registered patients by appointment only in a medical building. His attorney advised that the main ways to avoid the wrath of the DEA is to stay small and Stinky nailed it, do not make too much money. Obviously, keep it on the down-low, do it by the book, do not traffic in the blackmarket ever. Making a mockery of national drug laws by opening a 24 hour neon light headshop also not a good idea. The cities of Colorado don't care for that much anyway.
