please help me save my baby!
well, right now i have a major problem on my hands as you can see, my one plant that is now almost 1 month old is starting to change a intense yellow color mostly on the inside of the actual leaf. not the tips. the yellowing is really only happening in the new top, and branched leaves.
i figure it has something to do with my water, should i boil my water from now on? please help me.dickytheriper Reviewed by dickytheriper on . please help me save my baby! well, right now i have a major problem on my hands as you can see, my one plant that is now almost 1 month old is starting to change a intense yellow color mostly on the inside of the actual leaf. not the tips. the yellowing is really only happening in the new top, and branched leaves. i figure it has something to do with my water, should i boil my water from now on? please help me. Boiling water only kills bacteria; it doesn't change the mineral content, and depletes the dissolved gases.
Your problem looks like.... picture taken under HPS by camera not corrected for it!!!
Solution: Turn off HPS when taking pics, or put the plants in natural light, or just use the flash.
What you describe, and I can sorta maybe see, sounds like a metal deficiency, probably iron.
Fill out the troubleshooting form at the top of this section so we know what you've been doing.
Your post title reminds me of the last scene in Cannonball Run... lol

oh, also wanted to mention about the picture qualitity, sorry about that one...i just get lazy trying to minimize it, plus the program that i use to crop photos also is pretty uneasy on the eyes after editing little white boxes cover the entire photo, and display the programs name/logo

It's the stripes- they are caused by interaction of the HPS light with your camera.
The form is a sticky at the top of the 'plant problems' forum.
Cannonball run is a truly silly and classic movie with Burt Reynolds at the height of his moustachioed hotness! You'd dig it if you liked Smokey and the Bandit.
