    Howdy Funky,

Well..cows are kinda like goats, they'll eat dang near anything..just pick spots where it won't be so easy for cows to git to,like in a patch of briars..also,if they don't eat them, they may just trample them,if you ain't careful about your location.

    Have a good one ...

    QUESTION: COWS ?

often wondered about spraying some sort of pepper spray on a area ,
to make Grazing animals go the other way and miss it ,if possible ?
how effective would it be,would cost $ too so thats a factor,
or would it just attract more to that location
    ya know like
hey there's a hot spot up on the hill with some spicy food.

    as for cows
you cant teach a cow anything, not sure ya can stop them from eating toxic grass if its under their face and its vegitation its food.
they eat and shit and thats about it
thats why we make patties out of them and fry em up.

im sure these cows are fenced in,
could u not go outside the fenceline in some remote spot,or possible for u to fence in a corner without being so noticed ?

    and remember this fact
'they' look for it from about 200 feet in the air,

    good luck

    peace

id really think about that gps thing
do ya really want waypiont spots marked on a computor to your plants
should it get tagged (siezed) by wrong hands ?
consider the risk verses the need

Yes, they can. I'm with Torog, they'll either eat them or trample them. Best plant them away from the cows...also there's a good chance the farmer (or a farm hand) might find the plants if they're anywhere near his fields. Especially during haying season when the cutting, tedding, raking, baling cycle begins. Most farmers hay twice in one season, so if the plants aren't found in June, they'll most likely be spotted in September.
