    FLOWERING___male flowers?

hi there, can i somehow concentrate on one or two braches of a female that is already 4 weeks into flowering and try to force a branch into popping out a male flower or two? i want the pollen to cross with another plant....

what methods can i use at this stage of the game? will gibberellic work at 4 weeks in flowering? will STS work? or covering with black plastic over the branch or any other method? or is it too far into flowering to have a male flower pop up?

Well i guess you could try and stress it and make it herm and then get shit hermie seeds from it, or you could grow a few plants next time and collect pollen from a male and use that. You gotta be so carful with pollen, it spreads around easy

    LIGHT-POISONING METHOD:
During the first three weeks of flowering, turn the lights on for an hour during the middle of the dark period. That is, 12 hrs. on, 5.5 hrs. off, 1 hr. on, 5.5 hrs. off, and repeat for the first 3 weeks, after which you may return to the normal 12/12 light cycle. This causes a plant to go "hermie" and pollinate itself, as well as any other female in the room. You must use plants originating only from female seeds or clones to ensure that no male chromosomes are present. The resulting seeds will produce NO MALE PLANTS!

I suggest you go ahead and enjoy your harvest, but leave a minimal flowers and some leaves on the plant. Then you can switch the lighting back to 18/6 to make the plant go back into its vegetative state. Once it's in it's vegetative state just take a few clones and turn one of those clones male by using gibberellic acid
