Need Nute help
Hi All,
I have a white widow growing in a 15g container and is just starting to show signs of flowering. Right now it is extremely hot out and the soil tends to dry out every 24hrs. My question is should I add nutes (I'm using FF's OS and Big Bloom) with the water everyday ot should I just add the nutes every other day and use plain water on the odd days?

Well Lunarose,
I too use foxfarm. I would go with adding every other watering. But what do I know?

The FF chart indicates to use it every watering... but the fine print recommends that for "best results," to use it every OTHER watering. You should just see how your plant responds to either schedule. If they don't seem to mind the constant feeding, go for it... just keep the thought of flushing fresh in your head so you don't forget the benefits of periodically doing so. Also, I think it is good to note that your days of "plain water," should actually be days of "Ph adjusted non-nutrient water
." I've learned the importance of Ph levels over time. All of the best nutrients will do nothing if the plant is unable to soak them up due to fluctuating Ph.
But yeah, you can try anything and see what works best in your climate. Some strains can handle daily feeding, some like every other watering, you can try 2-3 feedings then plain Ph adjusted water, 2 feedings then a Ph adjusted flush, feed-flush-feed-flush... etc.
The bud is your paintbrush :hippy:
(I can't remember who wrote that but I thought it was funny)
