    Help!

Here's a link for temps, but if you don't have an accurate digital display (and I doubt you do), you have to judge by the state of your leftovers (light to medium brown, not black). If you have a cheap digital box, only use the numbers on display for a reference point. CA NORML Health Information

It would be helpful to know what vaporizer you're using. Using a conduction vape (globe type usually) is different from the preferred convection vape, and they vary in use from one to another too. How much to use is part of the learning curve and depends on personal preference as well. Using a lot in a whip vape makes for quite a few nice hits, but you also have to stir more to get it all vaped, and the hits at the end won't be very tasty.

Here's a video that may answer your questions.

    Help!

'Ultimate Vapor Machine' is where that link takes me. That's a completely different vaporizer than the Vapormatic. They're both digital, but the Vapormatic is more expensive and does bags as well as direct draw.

If you have the UVM don't trust the display to give you an accurate display temp as far as the actual vaping temp. Use a temp range that cooks your herb but doesn't burn it. Use the display temp as a reference.

If it's the Vapormatic, that one has its issues too.

"We recommend a maximum temperature setting of 176C for the Mystifire. At a temp setting of 176C, actual temperature will fluctuate between 170C and 200C."

Mystifire Vaporizer Kit - Herbal Vaporizers - Store - Vaporizers

Even though that statement refers to the Mystifire, it applies to the Vapormatic as well. Air2 is the company that makes them both, and they are identical units. They make the Mystifire for Pyro Products.

The Vapormatic is easy to use as a bag filler. It'll work the same every time. Just find the setting that cooks your herb just right and stick with it. Using as a direct draw/whip vape, there's a learning curve. How hard you draw on the whip affects the temp. Too hard and you'll lower the temp too much. Too light of a draw, and depending on your temp setting, you could overcook. How much to load is part of the learning process. Too little and you won't get much vapor. Too much and it won't all get exposed to the hot airflow.
