Yes, it's not the norm, but it does happen. I've seen a few people on other forums that mentioned having blood AND urine tested for a pre-employment screen. Who knows why? Maybe they want to try to determine if one is cheating on urine...or maybe they want to know if you smoked very recently....I have no idea.

All I know is that the paperwork I received in my offer said that I would have a urine drug screen, a blood drug screen, or both. If it was just urine I wouldn't even have batted an eye as I've passed a couple now with Quick Fix and I've got it down to enough of a science that I don't get too nervous anymore.

Just really nervous about this job because it's a 25% raise (unbelievable I know, but true)!
lampost Reviewed by lampost on . Urine AND/OR BLOOD for pre-employment!!! Man, I need some help. I've finally got some confidence up on the urine tests after using Quick Fix a couple times. Unfortunately, my confidence in Quick Fix led me to feel invincible while negotiating for a new job. So, needless to say, I didn't really cut back much on my daily smoking. Today, 2 weeks after the interview I got the offer letter. It's a substantial raise (25%) that I can't afford to lose. The offer packet contains the drug testing info and it says that the offer is Rating: 5
