Got my growroom setup, copied the rubbermaid grow *thanks for whoever made that! hehe cant remember your name* got it in my closet, only got one right now but ill add another one after i start to flower and they get bigger so they dont stretch since i cant hang the light. i got 12 seeds a germinating, i got 4 doing that soil germination in some peat pellets, which is like rapid rooters almost, i got 6 germinating in water, 4 in a cup and wrapped in socks for thermals, and then in a closed waterbottle for the other 2 wrapped in socks for extra thermals and then i got 2 germinating papertowel method, i got 6 pots i can fit in the rubbermaid, ill grow 6 females in there if i even get 6, any others sadly are gonna be vegged and try to get them outside before its to late... if anything ill be able to bring them in before frost because my other plants would be done. Getting that huge a** tote into my closet was a PITA

one of the seeds, looks like its splitting, but like diagonally, its the curve where the side meets the top and its white.. so hopefully a taproot will come out

Just be easy :thumbsup: Try not to check on them too much.

It sounds like you have a nice little experiment going on with the different germination techniques. It should be an interesting comparison. If some of them are giving you trouble, carefully skuff up the shell with something. Doesn't have to be really noticeable, just enough to scratch it. Be gentle and once they do crack... keep the first little taproot out of direct light.

you can only fit one plant in a rubbermaid box..... i got one and after 3 weeks...only one will fit...good luck my rubbermaid box is the sh*t....works flawless..

PS...save yourself sometime...since the rubbermaid box is so small..invest in some Female seeds....i germ 2 WL White sKunk seed on my first run with the box....it was to small for both...Both turned out male....You can check my old log...it on here somewhere.....good luck!

heh mines tall! it was a B**** to get in my closet! i had to take out my tv, which is an older kind and its likea 30 inch so that god damn thing must weigh like 100 pounds no kidding... and my box is prolly 3 footish tall, 5 feet longish, and 2 and a halfish feet width, also what does scratching it do? just make it so the seed using less energy getting through that gigantic shell?

also im just using some bagseed, my friend who is like a small time dealer, he buys an ounce or two every paycheck and saves up the shake from what he keeps * he sells 6/8ths and then the 2 eigths are free to him* and from what he gets originally, and he gave me 80 beaners so i figured i go ahead and germinate 12, grow 6 females if i do get that many even, and any other females get put outside its just some schwag for trial error

Some seeds that are particularly troublesome when trying to germinate may have become dormant. In short, it's a natural protective measure to ensure that the seed does not sprout under unfavorable conditions. Scratching the outer shell... "wakes up," the seed and allows for easier absorption of water.

i have 3 for sure cracked seeds with a little sperm er taproot just about to come out, gonna put in a pot as soon as i see it come out of its dark exterior, and i dug into my peat pellets i was using for germination, one was for sure germinated. One was facing down but looks like it was didnt want to dig deeper and the other 2 well. :icon506::angry3::trooper::rambo::beatdeadhorse:
