Upcoming Urine Test - help. . .

I have recently been offered a promotion at work, and luckily my boss is cool enough to give me time to clean up before he promotes me (and sends me for testing).

I actually stopped smoking around the 14th-15th of this month (july) in order to prepare for this drug test after smoking roughly 7 grams of mid grade bud in 2 days (roughly 3.5 grams a day) for the last 5-6 months consistently. I lit up tonight and smoked a joint to relieve some stress, and am worried i wont be clean in time.

Ive also asked around, and read about ways to pass a test, and have found a lot of the information on this site useful so I felt comfortable posting.

I have had a few friends (not knowing each other) mention a product called "Portable Aqua" (a water purification system) available at your local wal-mart. All have guaranteed it has worked for them 100% of the time and have been thinking about trying this. Supposedly if I get about 4-5 tablets and put them in a gallon of water the day before the test, plus take B12 to add color I will pass the test. I have read about it on this site and various others, and there are some that say it works, and some that done.

I have also researched the company my employer uses for testing, and found a few disturbing things about trying to substitute/dilute my sample. Ive taken a test with them before, and actually stayed clean for 24-26 days and passed.

Im not planning on smoking anymore after tonight, but am still afraid i only have 2 weeks now to get clean.

Can anyone offer me some advice to possibly better my situation?

NOTE: Im around 5'10'' and weigh approximately 190 lbs.

geez don't drink chlorine. Your friends are idiots.lol

Don't bother with detox drinks. It sounds like this is a good job so don't risk it with something unreliable. You maybe able to get clean in time. For the next week and a half exercise,eat a high fiber diet and metamucil. Pickup some cheap thc strips. And have a backup plan. Sub with synthetic urine is a good option.

I was under the impression a substitution was out of the question here because of the company doing the test. I may be able to get my boss to give me another week or so, but I do not want to ask him because I smoked again. Maybe I can make something up like. . i need to get my own vehicle first or something. . . but im afraid he'll replace me because he waited for me to get clean the last time I was promoted.

I spoke with a friend that told me that because ive already taken one test with this company uses someone elses urine, or a substitute wouldnt work because the company would have a specific profile for my sample.

I talked to another guy today who said the exact same thing about the water purification pills. He didnt tell me the same brand (portable aqua) but said he does it everytime he has to take a test (hes a truck driver) and he said it works every time. . . . but he did tell me the first test he took he was afraid to do it, and just drank assloads of water before hand, and passed.

I don't know about all the other ideas you've been told but I substitute all the time and when you say your not sure if you can, no matter where you take a employment test you go in the bathroom alone and come out with a cup of piss.

Search for quick fix and substitution here and you will heat it up, attach a heating pad, put it in the pouch of your fruit of the looms, go in the bathroom and pour it in the cup and with a search and practice you will know how to check temperature and it could not be easier.

I just noticed one more question I can answer. Your company does not have a specific profile for you. They do not keep your urine or DNA or anything like that. They were looking for drugs and thats it.

Some of these friends that are tell you these things above are just not correct. This information on this forum is correct and if not, there are people here who will correct the it.

I have actually told my boss that because of my personal situiation I cannot take the promotion and gurantee I can be there on time, and run his store the way he wants it due to the simple fact I do not have my own vehicle, and so on.

He is currently interviewing other individuals for the position, but after doing the math myself, I have came to this conclusion:

The last time I smoked pot, was on the 27th of july. My girlfriend recently scraped a bowl and we smoke a bit of reson (about one bowl, which I got a good 2 hits off of) and a bowl (which I got one hit off of on the 8th of August).

My concern is simple. . . . Even though I smoked reson on the 27th. . . and hit a bowl off of actual pot (once, maybe twice, honestly cant remember) on the 8th, do I need to start completely over to be completely safe?

I mean to be honest, im pretty sure hes not going to up and drug test me off the bat. . . but if Im given the operatunity again within 28-30 days of the 8th of august, am I going to fail the drug test because I smoked pot on the 27th one time?

I mean I have always heard, if you do not smoke habitually, you can pass a drug test with it 24-72 hours of the last time you smoke (ive passed a drug test for probation at 8 AM, when I smoked approximately 7 grams at around 11 PM the night before without doing anything except drinking a milk jug worth of water before going to sleep).

Im just curious because I know im not going to have to take the drug test I was so afraid of before, but if this new person gets fired for some reason, I may be offered the position again. . . and dont get me wrong. . . . i love to smoke. Im a recovering alcoholic, and honestly which choose smoking over drinking, and tonight I was offered the chance to smoke some shit that costs $160 bucks a quarter (for free), and turned it down because I could just buy a couple of 40ozs, and be ok.

What do you guys think?

Why are you passing up the promotion? Like Jeffman said, substitute! It doesn't matter who the company is performing the drug test and collection, they still have to follow the rules and laws on observation and a pre employment test cannot be observed unless you give them cause (temperature is wrong, refusing to empty pockets or take off outerwear, etc).

If you want to do it with your own urine and get clean, then buy some home tests.

I don't know what you mean by completely start over.

This thing about the portable water is crazy. It's dangerous and unproven. At least one of them drank lots of water before the test and that's what caused him to pass.

Most heavy smokers do not get clean in 48-72 hours.

Yeah just figure on subbing, then you can get your promotion and not have to make any lifestyle changes unless you want to.
