    Making them stretch?

I've read a lot of bad things about making your plants stretch. Mine are pretty developed. I'm doing a rubbemaid tote grow.
I intended for them to be mini, but most are quite small all under 6 inches (but all have 5-7 nodes at the least some maybe 9-10)

I know my yield might suffer from this or at least that's what I've read.

I'd like to gain at least another 3-4 inches before Veg is over.

Would taking them out of the box and placing them under a single CFL about 2 feet away stretch them?

Yes they will stretch and they wouldn't get enough light.

    Dont force them to stretch!

They will stretch significantly during early flower. I would not try to force extra stretch! You could end up running out of room, and that is a royal pain in the ass!

you mainly got 6" plants and you have anywhere from 5-10 nodes. you shouldnt loose yeild there, that should give a good solid bud on a stick. when you switch the lights to 12/12 you plants will most likely double in size.

i have one plant 5 1/2 to 5 3/4 " and it has 9 after fimming lower branches produced extra nodes. Not including the cotyledons. Really developed for such mini's. Can i decide to flower based off nodes? if so how many?
