Anyone with experience:
I have two plants 14 days into flower. One is a female and one I thought was a male until it hermed on me. I gave it the chop an hour ago. I don't know why it happened as I don't see any light leaks or anything of that nature. I had wanted to use the male to pollinate the female becasue I am on my last two seeds from a really good strain. Originally I figured I would just let nature take it's course but now that plan is gone. So here's my plan B. Trying to think a head, I collected some pollen from my last grow just incase something happened and I could not produce a viable male on this grow. So my question is will this work, if I sprinkle pollen over my female plant? If so when is a good time to pollinate during light hours or dark? And when should it be done in relationship to the flower cycle? Now, In A few days, In a Few Weeks? And is there any special way to spread the pollen? Any info would be most appreciated.
