Does anyone know anything about bentonite volcanic ash and wheather it works or not for cleaning the kidneys temporarily for a clean piss? Bentonite is an absorbent aluminium phyllosilicate generally impure clay consisting mostly of montmorillonite. Ive head a few things about it and am thinking about doing an experiment to see if any of these claims are true. Aparently 1Tbs of it can absorb 900 square yards of toxins (whatever that means, like toxins have length?)

It still wouldn't help for a drug test because thc sits in your fat cells not your kidneys.

I realize it wouldn't clean you out but rumors are that it can make you pee clean for a few hours. And not because of dilution.

How could bentonite passing through your intestines have any effect on the THC metabolites, which go from your body fat to your bloodstream to your urine? Bentonite is an inert clay that is completely indigestible. It never passes into the bloodstream and therefore has no contact whatsoever with the THC metabolites.

Bentonite products, like the magic drink & pill potions, work on the principle of dilution. That means they work because of the amount of fluids you drink along with them. They do not convert THC metabolites into something that can't be detected, as they, the makers and sellers, like you to believe. They do not "flush" them from your system. The only things that remove THC metabolites from your system are time and fat-burning exercise.
You can duplicate the actions of these so-called "wonder products" by following the guidelines in this link:

Never assume the word "toxins" meaning THC metabolites. THC is non-toxic, therefore its incorrect to label THC a "toxin".

they do not advertise it for passing a drug test. it is sold as a general detox agent at health food stores. no where are they trying to market it for such use what so ever

Square yards refers to area, not length, but that still makes little sense. Cubic yards refers to volume, but 900 cubic yards is a huge amount, like 90 big dump trucks worth! Not sure what they meant.
