aerobic exorcise is the only way to speed metabolism..
you could take niacin daily (300mg or so) it increases blood flow which helps the bodys natural detoxification and increases body temperature which burns fat. but just exercise should be good enough if you have at least 23 or more days before the test (moderate smoker)

Over excercising isn't going to help. Neither does drinking a shit load of water/juice.

That seems like good advice. Why wouldnt exercising help me detox? Wont that burn fat? And my smoking has been very minimal so I think exercising and drinking a lot would help to get my numbers down dramatically. I think doing that over any period of time would be a good way to pass.

listen man, I've been here 2 years and Ive read a million other threads of kids asking THE EXACT same questions. And the moderator for the Drug Testing threads (His name is FakeBoobsRule) always tells them that drinking a shit load of liquids and excercising is NOT, repeat NOT going to make you clean.
Just because THC is stored in the fat cells does not mean that burning fat makes them suddenly dissapear.
And all that water will do is make you wanna pee and/or make your piss dilluted (which by the way if you go into a test with diluted piss they WILL make you produce another test).

Sorry Rebgirl but we do recommend aerobic exercise. If your metabolism is fast to begin with or you are very active you probably won't benefit from it as much as someone with a slower metabolism, or is overweight or inactive. You are right though about drinking excessive water and the niacin. Niacin is completely useless and stay hydrated but don't overdo it because it won't help.
Joe, it is hard to speed up your body's ability to get rid of THC metabolites. Do a search on fiber.
Don't tell people to stay out of the drug testing forum either. You post a question, you can't pick and choose the responses. As long as the response doesn't violate forum rules, you going to have to take some things that you want to hear and some things you don't want to hear.
You might not want to hear it but many people have given you good advice here. Stop smoking if your on probation.

There is a lot of new understanding on the length of time that THC metabolites stay in your system. I know of moderate users that have passed after 1 - 2 weeks of abstinence. Individual results will vary based on body weight, overall activity level, consumption level, etc.
Best advice is to go to Walgreens and pick up a home test to see if you can pass. It's a $15 insurance policy..... See pic below.

Exercising will speed up the rate you get clean. 100% fact. To what degree i can not tell you. but for Certain it will help increase metabolism. No where in my post did i say it will instantly clean your system or anything crazy like that, but if you exercise regularly, than Not only will your resting metabolism increase but during your exercise you can burn about 100 calories per mile ran. now if you eat low fat during this time then you will clean even faster. your body will be burning your fat away into the blood to be filtered by the kidneys. The half life of THC is anywhere from .8 to like 10 days or so depending on your metabolism rate and body fat percentage.
There is no possible way that Aerobic exercise does not increase metabolism. I am not saying this is an instant thing. It still takes time to get clean, but it does help.
Drinking water on the other hand wont really do anything for helping you get the THC metabolites out of your fat because it is released at a constant rate according to your metabolism, but i would help you get whatever thc metabolites that are in your kidneys out. also drinking water is good for you so go for it especially if you are going to start exercising. Plus getting into shape and exercising is great for your body and will release endorphines and make you feel good and will help you keep your mind off smoking weed.

I must agree with people who say just stay off of pot while on probation. Being that I found myself in a similar situation, except only a year probation(which, thanks to passing and paying it off ASAP I'm getting it cut to 6 months), it is a lot easier than it seems. Just keep judging the risks and rewards, and keep your priorities straight. Marijuana should be used as a luxury, not a necessicity, and this is coming from someone who was a multiday, everyday smoker as well.
Risks:
Go to jail
Longer probation period
More money
Directly impacts record
Rewards:
No jail
Shorter probation period
Less money
No jail
Less of a mark on record(Assuming it is just a misdemenor situation with you...with me, being that I'm on a thing called "Probation without Verdict" once I am done with probation it is completely wipped from the books that I was ever caught
)
No jail
Being able to smoke up as much as you want once done
No paranoia about failing a test
No jail
Hmmm, did I mention no jail?
Anyway, the answer is clear to even the likes of Ray Charles, while on probation, Do NOT Smoke Marijuana
