Ahhhhh Beaverton. What a nice little city. It's really close to Portland, which you'll enjoy! ( Make sure you don't buy your weed at the waterfront park
)
If you are looking to get your medical marijuana papers in Oregon, you will need to have a legitimate ongoing medical issue. You need 6 months of medical history with a physician before you can even think of getting your medical MJ recommendation. Long story short: It isn't as easy as in California, but if you insist on smoking the most dankest of the cannabis flowers, this will legally permit you to grow your own.
I have noticed that so many people from Hawaii move to the Portland area--I've talked to a few people , mostly on the street, who say they are from Hawaii.

forget about finding co-ops. it's not like california -- there are no cannabis clubs that will sell you marijuana in a store like in oakland.
your best bet is to grow your own weed after you get your medical papers, or find a very reliable drug dealer who you don't absolutely hate (and it can be VERY HARD sometimes to find a good drug dealer)..
oh and if you go to portland, don't buy your weed at the waterfront park, whatever you do!!!!!!!!!!!

*Note to self*
Do not Buy weed from Waterfront Park*
I know it must be a good reason for it,but why?Vice.rip offs?
Thanks for the heads up on this bro,appreciated.
So what your saying is I need a review of 6 months before obtaining or applying for a card?
I have Chronic back pain that does get into the 10's on a scale of 1-10.But it aint like I am crying all day and confined to a wheel chair.But it hurts bad and the MJ helps a big deal.I cant walk very far before I have to sit down and even then it cant be just any chair......folding chairs are out of the question.
Does it matter if my doctor here has been treating me for about a year with MJ?Or is it that I have to be under the care of an Oregon Physician for 6 months?
I hope it aint the latter,I hate being without MJ,without it I end up taking large doses of other meds and it hurts my stomach bad,I mean I could do it,but I dont want to,you know......
Thanks everyone for your guys help,cant wait to get up there to Oregon.I love Hawaii and it is my home,but Traffic is sheddy and Cost of living is worse and all my family is up in the mainland,We cant make it on one income......
