As for clinics with docs in the portland area, there are really only two that specialize in MMJ.
Mothers Against Misuse and Abuse - A Rational Approach to the Issues of Drug Use.
and
The Hemp and Cannabis Foundation, THCF Medical Clinics, Medical Marijuana Doctors, Medical Marijuana Clinics, Serving The Cannabis Community Since 1999 - Medical Marijuana as treatment for chronic pain, chronic nausea, AIDS, cancer, glaucoma, chronic
Either of them can get you your card.

LIKE THEY SAID CHECK OUT THE VOTER POWER WEBSITE. OREGON BASICALLY HAS LEGAL POT, IT ISN HARD TO GET A CARD. GET A HOLD OF THE OREGON HEMP AND CANABIS FOUNDATION BY RICK MOSS. THEY OPERATE IN LIKE 5 NORTHWEST STATES, AND THEY WILL HELP YOU THROUGH EVERY STEP TO GETTING YOUR CARD, AND THEY WILL EITHER HELP YOU GET STARTED GROWING, OR HOOK YOU UP WITH SOME SORT OF CO-OP. IF YOUR IN OREGON, THATS THE WAY TO GO.

Right on guys.
The thing is I dont have any insurance, because I am still filing my dissability and I havent worked for awhile.....So I been looking for these low income clinics,Im not sure if they would help me,i mean I am new here and all.I did contact mama's and they told me how much it would cost....So I sent my doctor in hawaii the request form and they told me it has to be requested from the doctors office in Oregon,I just cant send it in to them.
Anyone here in Oregon gone to one of these low income clinics to get a recommendation?

Its all about $ for these places... having to get the money to pay that doctor to say "ya" or "nay" and for some reason it can cost over 300$.
At least it did a year ago when I went in. To bad the bullshit thing is, I need a current medication to OVERride with cannabis, which I dont.

you're not going to find any insurance companies that will cover medical marijuana expenses, of any sort :smokin:

Just to add:
Did you ask your doctors office in Hawaii for your medical records and they will only send them to a doctors office?
If thats true, thats un-heard of. They are YOUR medical records, and its your right to have/see them via copies.. depending on how big they are, it might cost you $10-20 for the office to copy, and mail them to you.
I keep mine in a 3inch ring notebook, and doctors are always astonished that I know/have so much info on my own body. (which makes me kinda mad cause, well, its my fucking body)

Getting your records should be simple, unless Hawaii has special rules and laws. You call your Doc, ask for the form to have your records released to your new Dr.! Fill out the form and send it to your HW Dr. and then magic, your records go!

If your Doc in Hawaii doesn't comply look up the way to turn them in to the state! I can't think of the name of it this minute--been a long time since I turned a doc in for mal-practice a 2 year old would know better than to do! P/R Best of luck to you I've read lots of your threads and really thot i should think Hawaii. I just need a change. Been less than 30 miles from where I was born for 55 years now! Only person in my blood line that has never left. compassion your way!
Plus, your clinic in O can request them directly from your Dr. Something is wrong here!
Have you moved yet? Just a thot, you may want to finish your disability in HW, with the economy, I haven't heard of one deseving person getting on disability from a new standpoint. Plus, some states disability pay is larger! P/R Have mother in law move in with you! It is a hard choice from HW to O. Guess your wife is a very good match for you! Sounds good!
We have others from Oregon you have not heard from. Try out old threads!!! I've read a lot of great stuff about compassion, etc. there.
Most clinics offer a discount for disability patients--well, some. One was listed to you. So, use your phone a bit. The internet isn't everything. P/R

I would suggest you hook up with the THC Foundation. That would be your best bet to try first. You can search the web for their site. And like what was said above, they cannot deny you your medical records fax them a copy of your ID notorized. You will need them for the THC Foundation. No records, no authorization.
