Soil question
Hello all, I'm new to the forum and will be starting to grow again soon. It's been about 10 years since my last grow and I've really missed it. Ok on to my question.
I have read about the soils to use for indoor grows and preparing the soils for outdoor grows. This is a little more technicle and I will explain why. The question is wouldnt different strains react differently to different soil conditions?
I am also a cigar lover, mainly cuban cigars and I know that cubn seed has been taken to many other places but the flavors of the cuban cigars cant be duplicated anywhere else. Same goes for wines. The french Bordeaus can only be grown in that region of france. Yes you can grow good cigars and wines in other areas but you are never able to duplicate the originals.
In reading through a lot of info I understand you also cant grow Hawaian or Jamaican and get the same results as the originals grown on the islands. I have read threw some of the grow journals here and obviously there doesnt seem to be any problems with the results that are obtained. I'm just curious how the different strains would react in differnt soil conditions. For instance what if you took an SSH to Jamaica or Hawaii or even Belize or Mexico. If you were growing outdoors would you get differnt results in each of those locations?grow1964 Reviewed by grow1964 on . Soil question
I'm no expert but taking in all into consideration soil, temp, humidity and location latitude wise its only logical that you would get different results. The real question is once the strain has been aclimated by being grown in a region for a couple of generations does it make the difference small.
