Well just looking at the photos....I actually liked the second better than the first one but that may be based just on the look.

However.....I don't think so. Basically I like the angles much better on the second hood (very angled :thumbsup but imho the cooltube's big bonus is the fact that you can get light pretty much EVERYWHERE. If you take that bonus away (by adding the angled lighting in the first photo) then you're probably better off with the second design......at least I think so just based on the photos.
