Actually if your door is unlocked.. he sure can. I have 4 locks on my door. Whenever I'm in my house I have all 4 of those suckers locked.

Man, roomie with warrants? Did you KNOW he had warrants? If you did, why risk growing?
I assumed you were on probation since you said you JUST got out of jail and that often comes with probation at the tail end.

Oddly enough, that's the exact rifle my friend the beagle trainer uses for rabbit...

I just got out of jail for the plants! i have a clean record (besides driving w/o license) and my room mate didnt even know!

You definitely get a lawyer. I think most states have the firearms inhancement law. Even if the guns are completely legally owned and never used in the course of any crime the penalties automatically go up. Its a bullshit law. Your prior record will help. You've been clean so that will help but it does really depend on what your mandatory minimums are in your state.
