GNC on Sales of Detox Products

GNC has policy of not selling you detox drinks unless you ask for by name(Strip,Eclipse,etc). I was fired for selling product to customer who asked for help in passing drug test! Now I been turned down for unemployment for misconduct of company policy! Need help-any experiencene with purchasing with GNC anywhere?

Two years ago I went to interview for a company and after the interview they sent me to a clinic to take a drug test.
I went to a GNC and asked the guy working there if they had anything that can clean me out quick. He asked me what I did and I told him I smoked weed, he then offered me a bottle of some $50 dollar bottle of dark purple liquid.
He said that will clean me out if I followed the directions on the bottle.
This was in Chicago and like I said this was 2 years ago.
Seems very strange that they fired you just because you mentioned drug testing. This guy that sold that bottle to me was talking weed and drug tests to me the whole time I was there.


p.s. I never got called back for that job. Probably because I failed the drug test.
