    sick plant?

ive grown this plant for about a month and a half,
    in organic sunshine potting soil.
    foxfarm nutes,
give it a good spraying of neem quite often. i even water it with neem sometimes.
    18/6 lighting (veg)
    8x40watt T12 tubes in there
    80 degrees
    55% RH

im in the process of killing the bugs right now. (mostly aphids it seems. always has been)
im thinking it might be mold combined with a calcium/magnesium deficency. maybe even combined with some crazy salt/neem oil build up (but neem is biodegradable.) and bugs at the roots / root rot.

but what do you think? will it endanger my other plants?

    sick plant?

oh and the symptoms are some of the leaves drying up to the point where they crumble, but still remain a very dark green. also, little brown spots on some of the lower mid leaves. and the usual yellowing bottom leaves.

Neem suffocation. Mist LIGHTLY. And too much in the soil will change its properties. You put on too much, you clog the leaf stomata and the plant can't exchange gases.
There's no way to remove neem from the leaf surfaces; stop spraying it, increase air flow, and decrease light intensity until the new un-neemed growth is big engouh to sustain the plant. You will lose a lot of hte affected leaves. Also lay off on the nutes. You are tryin gto slightly slow down the plant's metabolism while it heals.

    sick plant?

    thank you stinky.

i havent been spraying them much lately because i dont see much leaf damage (from bugs) nowadays. but about a week ago they were sprayed almost every other day.

now ive just been watering with a light neem oil solution with no nute and just a drop or two of soap, to drench the soil, about 2-3 times a week. i use no nutes with the neem so i hope that kind of leeches the salts and whatever out but if you say too much will change the properties, im all with you. i have noticed the soil clumping up alot more. especially at the surface. but this is also normal, because i have to tear up teh surface with a fork about once a week anyway.

do you think this plant is safe to clone? i wanna try.

oh and sorry about being a little bitch on that other thread while i was all drunk. i fuckt shit up that night. even one of my babies.

    anyway, thanks stinky. you rock
