advice on closet grow 1st time

hey guys i wanna do a little setup in my closet but have no idea on what to do i read in here and i just get confused with all diffrent lights n everything well my questions are i wanna grow only a few plants well a bunch at 1st then rid the males so im prolly gonna start with 10 plants and hopefully end up with 2 ladies well i grow outdoors n only know how to grow outdoors but inside is a diffrent story i wanna go cheap with lighting cuz im very nervous about doin it indoors but am goin to anyways so i only wanna use the less expensive lighting i read about the cfl's and am hopeing you guys can tell me wich ones to get for flowering and vegging and i think i would need to use about 4 lights as i see that in many pictures on the site my g'room is decent already paintted flat white and put strips of tin-foil on walls have a window in closet for ventalation and has no light leaks due to the way i rigged it up i have very good soil to grow in same soil i been using for a few yrs with tons of horse n cow poop and natural compost soil is very fluffy drains well n has good nutes so if u guys can please tell me what i would need types of lights i mainly just wanna use regular lightbulbs but the cfl kind please help if you understand what im asking sorry i type alot but thanks in advance pvt stoner haha ex army fella

Holy Crap...all that on one breath. Check the grow logs, and the Indoor Growing forums. Have a pencil and paper handy. All the info you'll need is likely contained there.

For starters, get a good potting soil. Overdoing the manures will kill a potted plant. (too hot) Miracle Grow soils are about as hot as you really want to use. Most folks in here prefer a 'lighter' soil without the additional nutes. Tiz easier to control what's going in, (nutes) rather than trying to figure-out how to deal with what's already there.

Ditch the tin foil idea. If the walls are white, that's fine. If flat-white...even better. (flat white reflects better than gloss white)

As far as getting specific with further help, sounds like you should really read bunches, write-down the important shit, then get back to us with your (organized) ideas.
Below, I've included some periods, comma's and spaces. Feel free to use as many as you need, I've got plenty, lol.
