Grow tent and floros

I have a grow tent that has 5sq ft of grow area. I have a 2ft T5
6 lamp light emmiting 12000 lumens. is this enough for good growth? I have been reading on here and I think I need more light.

Thats a bit low for flowering a space your size. I'm assuming with the T5 you've not much room for more lights overhead? Perhaps you could drop a few cfls in there or get some more fluro's and mount them on the walls somehow? Other than that you could make a scrog and concentrate your plants budsites directly under the T5.

Have you had a look through the closet/cabinet growing section and grow log sections for T5 grows? You might get some ideas and you'll be able to see what kind of harvest the lights are capable of.

What if I were to buy another 2ft 6lamp light, turn it upside down and lay a piece of plexiglass or just regular glass and place the plants on top of it? That would make 24k lumens in a 5ft space...whatcha think? The lamp doesn't get hot on top so I think it would lay in there just right.

or...do you think I have enough space to run a 250w hps light in that area? don't want to bake my plants...just my mind.

A lot of the lumens are gonna be hid under your plant pots and what does get between the pots will be sooo weak by the time it's travelled the distance of the pot it won't be of much use i suspect. And your gonna have wet pots above electricity which is never a great idea!

e2a i run a 250w hps in a cooltube in a 2x2ft tent, you should be good with a proper fan to extract the heat
