    The truth about money

Cars are useless in the real world!

    Internet is useless!

    fuckitall!

    real world:

farm for food, work for a living, rest easy after a hard day's work SURVIVING.

    THIS world:
Internet, cars, long commutes sitting on our asses DRIVING to and from work, most jobs involve sitting on our asses calculating meaningless numbers.

industrial jobs that actually require heavy lifting, only to turn around and pollute the planet and kill off the very natural world that we were born of, that we depend upon for survival.

YEAHHH... what good is a car when all you need to do is tend to your crops?!

if each and every person had a personal garden, the political world would collapse when everyone abandons their "typical" lives for natural ones.

    cars... PLEASE!

Tractors might come in handy though... :P

    The truth about money

    Good points, Wolf.

hmm yeah a tractor would still be nice, because I'm against the use of animals for labor of any kind (drug dogs, plowing fields, pulling wagons, etc) or for a means of transportation. Humanely killing an animal for food is one thing, but putting it into a life of slavery is cruel.

I also feel that the bartering system should come back.

Even if we still used "money", platinum/gold/silver/bronze pieces could be used just like in the old days.

actually im not seeing it as forced labor so much as it is a way of the animal earning it's keep. i mean if you arent gonna butcher it, treat it like an equal. if you're going to feed it, make it work for it's food.

Dogs protect their owners by nature, so they earn their meal by warding off criminals and would be attackers.

Oxen dont make such good pets, but plow fields real well...

dont think of animals as our superiors or inferiors, think of them as our equals, as good friends.

Just cuz your buddy is down on his luck doesnt mean you're gonna let him mooch off ya for free are ya? and if you did, only for so long before you expect him to get on his feet and working to sustain himself.

so why would a friend, working to help sustain the family, be considered a slave?

    TREAT ANIMALS WITH RESPECT.

ALSO, IF we're using machinery, it should be green machinery, running off bio-diesel and hemp oils and steam. pollutants kept at a minimum.

I also think that hemp should replace currency out right.

Hmm... treating the animals as equals and making them work for their food. I never would have thought about it that way. I guess as long as they are not abused or made to work using negative reinforcement then it could be acceptable.

Still, the animals can't tell us what type of job they want to be used for... just for eating the grass so it won't get to tall, giving us fertilizer, letting us have eggs or milk, letting us sacrifice it for meat and hyde... most of them probably have no concept of being put to work for us. It seems like taking advantage of someone whose intelligence is lesser than ours, for our own gain.... as long as we keep the animal alive and fed.

That'd still be a hard thing for me to accept. I will think about it some more.

Hemp for money... well, at one time people could pay taxes with it, so why not just for everything?! That'd be really damn awesome.

what makes you think animals are any less cognitive than we are? animals arent as picky as humans, and when they are, they let us know. they will put up a fight if they dont want to do something.

yea, sometimes it is just as simple as "mowing" the grass or producing eggs that they earn their keep, but the bigger animals are still useful, and would probably take pride in their abilities to help us. especially if we praised them for their efforts and kept company with them.

as far as sacrificing them for food, we would have to make it as celibratory as possible. think about it like this:

They are your best friend in the world, but you know you cannot live without eating them, how would YOU, PERSONALLY, handle that?

make ceremony of it, celebrate their lives and treat them like kings, even if only one last day, honor and respect them, use everything their bodies have to offer so they will always be with us.

Hemp = cash. let's do it! haha

it is more productive than cash, can be USED for so many things that no one would really be ABLE to stockpile it, and if they did it would be put to good use!

you cannot fuel cars, alleviate pain, build houses, or clothe your bodies with cash... well maybe clothing works...

but a cash house wouldnt stand up to much.
