Pre-Hair Test Paranoia?

Hello. I am a former cannabis smoker. I've been clean for nearly a year, but now that I have a hair test coming up in a little over a week for a very important job that I need, there are some instances where I was exposed to it second hand briefly that are making me scared.

#1. Late last year, perhaps late November to early to mid December. A couple friends and I were getting ready to go to the bar, and they decided to smoke a joint before we left. We were in a fairly good-sized (well, long would be a better way of putting it) room, and I stayed over at the opposite end of where they were smoking and had the door open (they also had a window open on their end). I had no contact high, not even a buzz, and the smoke never got anywhere near me.

#2. This was earlier this month, perhaps late last month. I was walking home from the store and was waiting for a truck to pass before I crossed the street. When I crossed, I didn't see smoke, but I could smell herb very briefly and quickly crossed to where I couldn't smell it anymore.

I am around 5' 11'', 175 lbs. with long (a little past shoulder length), dark hair.

I know this probably sounds ridiculous, but this is something I can't afford to screw up. Thank you in advance.

I'd say it depends more on what part of the hair they test. the follicle is tested for here and now but they can and a lot of times do cut the hair into 1/4 inch pieces and test them to determan a timeline of last use by using what science already knows about hair growth. I hope you get the job But you do still need to be worried, might consider a trim up above the collar just to be safe if it were me. GL.
