I don't have what the website might have been, but you can get a rough idea from the solstices and equinoxes... the 3rd week of March and September are when the days hit the 50/50 mark.

3rd Week of March: Vernal Equinox north of the Equator (Autumnal in southern hemisphere) - during this week, there will be the closest to equal day and night for this half of the year, and then the days will get longer from then on (shorter in the southern hemisphere)

3rd Week of June: Summer Solstice north of Equator (Winter in southern) - longest daylight period of the year (shortest in south).

3rd Week of September: Autumnal Equinox north of the Equator (Vernal in southern hemisphere) - Sometime during this week there will be equal amounts of day and night, and the daylight period will get shorter (longer in southern hemisphere) from then until:

3rd Week of December: Winter Solstice (Summer in southern hemisphere) - the least (most in s.) amount of daylight of the year, and the daylight period gets longer from there.

As long as you are not between the tropics and the equator, you'll have 12/12 sometime late in September. Problem is, many of the places where this occurs in North America aren't going to be too suitable to grow things outdoors due to cooling temperatures.

Just remember we are constantly shifting and from now on in the northern hemisphere the days will be getting shorter by 2-3 minutes or so each day (depending on your latitude) until December - every single day. You're only going to have something really close to 12/12 one or two days, and something in the range of 12/12 for only a couple of weeks.

You could plug your nearest city into this (Time and Date Sunset/Sunrise Clock) and get as accurate as you need, I hope.
