Cannabis-based salve experiments
ive been using BHO honey oil or the oils collected from my volcanao after cleaning as sometimes a kinda face cream an put it on anything that i think it will help with
so far iv e used it spots or acne and its probably the best stuff ive ever tried i had a huge zit an i mean huge it looked like a boil ive had one or two before and they usually take a good few weeks to heal fully an to even be popable( i know gross as it sounds) when i put a small amount of BHO or pure thc on the spots within litereally a couple of hours the spot has had all the nasties bought out and can be popped really easily or left over night an it do it itself then over 48 hours its gone regardless of weather i put more on it. wihtin 24 hours its jus a lil tiny scab an 48 hours a bit of dry skin as apossed to a huge puss yeilding spot that looks like its gonna explode.
i dont suffer from any serious acne but would be interested to see what the results where on someone with a serious condition although be warned as the spots would swell right up after the first day then go down after this. thc seems to help the skin in its healing process and help it rid the body of any bacteria and nasties
another thing ive found it works on is warts if you cover the wart in bho or thc for about a week or two for everyday it jus disapears over the course of this time ive found i can pull the skin off thus removing the wart then eventually its gone
ive tried this on a small wart an it worked i also had a couple on my hands when i was younger and when i started smoking weed (not soap bar) they jus went on their own
i know its nothing to do with the ailments you were interested in but it would seem there are a lot more uses to thc than meets the eye
there have been reports of it curing skin cancer to but ive never tried this so cant condone it even works although it has been proven that thc has some anti cancerous properties

Cannabis-based salve experiments
Hey, I'm down for anything!
The recipe I gave looks like it's good for REALLY REALLY dry skin, cuticles, elbows, lips.
Next is a softer, more creamy one that hopefully will be good as a face cream. I was testing the balm on my face and it worked fine until the weather here got hot and muggy, and then BAM, my face broke out, but in tiny mini-zits, not the big inflamed goopy painful ones. So apparently it's too thick and waxy for facial use if you're planning on sweating, haha!

I don't understand the first part of why there is water in the olive oil that needed to get separated.

You will find that the stuff your using is very waxy & greasy. You'll need some kind of additive to break that down so it will penitrate faster.

How well does it absorb into the skin. Does it leave skin waxy or oily for more than a couple of minutes, or does it go right in.

Cannabis-based salve experiments
Hi Stinky, I have a very painful condition called Acquired Angioedema and Uritica (Hives). This is a very painful auto immune disease that causes swelling and extremem pain. Nothing has helped with the pain..UNTIL I found a product calld Rub A Dub. Interestingly, the pain relief but not the swelling is almost immediate. This stuff is a balm in a small round container, but it is expensive. I'm interested in learning how to make this on my own.
I'm a complete novice at this. I do not like the taste and can not stand the smell of baked or smoked cannabis, even tho I grew up in the 60's, I didn't like it then and do not like it now. But this balm doesn't have this smell and the relief is a godsend. Prior to finding this I felt doomed to be in the state of constant pain. My very good allergist suggested I try cannabis. I found his suggestion was good as it relates to the balm.
So if anyone can give me a clue on what I'm supposed to do with the herb to refine it (there are no leaves or visible cannabis in the balm) I would be most grateful. I suffer on a daily basis from these conditions and, while I still look horrible and distorted the pain is migitated successfully.
Thanks and if you want to email directly you can send me any information to [email protected] as well as this site. Thanks in advance
