1- Place tins on a spill-proof surface (cookie tin)
2- Pour carefully! This stuff is hard to clean off, so try to keep spills to a minimum.
3- Finished product
So let me tell you what I've found so far. I have really a kind of ruddy complexion that gets worse when I'm dehydrated, or if the air is dry, or I'm stressed out. I've been using the 'active' on the right side of my face and the 'placebo' on the left side. I definitely notice a detectable lessening of redness on the right side. I found a couple test subjects with skin conditions and will be reporting the test results as soon as I have some. I'm asking them to use the one labelled 'R' on the right side of their bodies, hte 'L' on the left (they won't know which is which), and leave one area completely untreated as a control.

I wonder if this would work as a sun lotion... aren't trichs produced for that reason??

Maybe to soothe sun BURN, but it does not have an SPF value as far as I am aware. =

You made it look very simple, just melting it all together.
In the last pic of the finished product, you've got 3 rows that all have different color.. first one is obviously unmedicated, but is there a difference between the other two?

The very pale one is the unmedicated salve, the really green one is med'd, and the grey-green pale one is a medicated lip balm. The recipe is really similar actually, and the salve would make a GREAT lip balm.

What variation was used to make the lip balm?

Actually the lip balm is nearly identical, with 1/5 the lanolin (eww smells like sheep) and instead of geranium and myrrh, it's grapefruit and lavender.
Lol! The only person I kiss is quite the lover of the herb himself!
So after what, 4 days of use, smearing this crap all over my face, while the weather has been warm and very wet, I can report that the one thing I expected; that is, for my face to break out big time, didn't happen. My skin looks better than usual; of course, I'm taking care of it better actually moisturizing more than once a day, lol, but the difference is significant. A couple friends have given me the 'ohhey you look good' line. We shall see. It's not particularly scientific lol

Glad to hear it's working for you so far. Let us know when you've found other test subjects.
