When you water, don't be afraid to fully saturate the soil. If you have good drainage (Btw how good is the drainage on the bottoms of the containers? Might want holes up the sides too) excess water will not build up in the bottom. You also don't want constant water in the soil. It's not hydro They want to dry out and take a deep breath.

How are you adjusting ph? Water @ 6.4, when put into nutrients, will most likely not be 6.4 anymore. Might explain why your run-off is low. I know my nutrients take my ph down.

Just some back ground. I have been useing half level of nuts every other watering.
