New, need subbing tips please :)

Hello everyone, I have recently been accepted into an BSN program and am required to take a urine drug screen before classes start. Now, I will be taking the test at the same time that I take my physical, which is on the 2nd of Aug. I believe. I have been smoking everyday for a while, though I am in relatively good shape with a fast metabolism. However, I do not want to chance it so I ordered some of the ever popular QF syn. urine. I have been reading on here for a bit just to try and get as much info as possible, but the only real concern I have about QF is the temp. As I mentioned, the test will be given at the same place as my physical, which I'm sure all the guys know means I get to turn my head and cough, lol. So, I will not be able to "crotch" the bottle. This somewhat worries me, as the temp. seems to be the main thing I need to get right. Do you think warming it with a hand warmer for a bit and sticking it beside my ankle in a boot would work just as well? I ordered the stuff today and got two day delivery just to insure it would be here by monday so I can have a good 9-10 days to practice. Also, does anyone have a good way they practice with it? Any tips would help; Im a newbie to the whole thing, since I've never really had to deal with such...Thanks in advance! cheers!

I've done quite a few physicals that required a drug screen also. I was always allowed to redress before the UA.
Pickup a couple extra of the cheap hard warmers. You can get them a dollar store.
My system:
I nuke the QF for 10 seconds and then crotch it.
When I pull into the lab I transfer it to a pocket with the hand warmer. Do physical. Redress and put QF back in my crotch.
Do the UA. They usually have you empty your pockets.
I usually keep a digital thermometer in my sock to double check temps. Don't get one with the alarm in it.lol
If by chance when you pour the QF in the cup and its a little high just blow on it. If its a little low rub your thumb against your pants and then hold it against the temp strip on the cup for a few seconds. Its all very easy just practice your technique for keeping the temp right.

Thanks for the tips, I do appreciate it. I am going to practice several times a day for many days before the actual test. I have been reading on here and I love all the info this site has. I will keep everyone posted on how the practice/actual test goes...thanks guys!
