Wait until you flower both of them out fully. If the shorty-squatty one is a male, yes that's a dank cross against a heavy pure indi like hk x bi. Sometimes though when you get one that squats too low, you'll have yield issues- just be aware of that. There should be SOME distance between nodes. You'll look at that trait during the stretch period. Look for a stretch to 150%-200% of initial height at inception of flower, and examine how much distance there is between the new nodes. IS it enough to allow for both bud growth and ample air flow around the stem?
What you are looking for in the smashberry f2 will be the pure sweet berry scent after a short cure, respectable yield, and vigor- you won't know those for a while yet; I'd definitely take clones and run identical rooted clones side-by-side, at least 3 of each, to find the preferable pheno.

sweet!! thanks stinks...multiple thanks...:greenthumb: I am gonna try for 3-5 clones ea of the phenos. Pics 1 and 2, the first 6 plants are the SB, the 4 behind them are BR....Second 2 are the HKxBIs...That really tall one in the back is a male I think..the other 6 are uniform...I know 4 ways can be a pain in the ass...but these are 4 pretty bad ass strains...lol
