Has Anyone Else Heard Of This? Growing in Darkness?
Hey guys,
Here's the story, a while back I downloaded this huge PDF file that contained all of this scientific research on growing marijuana with NO LIGHT. I thought it was a really interesting concept but I never got the motivation to read the research file.
Now that I've got a new compy I don't have the file, and I can't find it on google.
So...has anyone else heard or read about this? I just want to discuss the concept of it because from what I read in the introduction (That's as far as I got) it seemed really interesting...
Let me know if you've heard of it.
I'm sure this has a total possibility of being complete and utter Bull Shiite but why not ask right?

I know that buddy...it got really complicated in that the energy from the "light wave" is transfered differently. You didn't need the wave to transmit the energy

Buddy... time to brush up on your physics if you think light energy is independent of wavelength/height/type
And also check into the various stages of photosynthesis while you are at it.
Can't be done. For a couple days at the ned of the crop, maybe; other than that, fughedaboudit

All right, that's why I asked I suppose.
It was really wierd, oh well. Tell me if you ever come across an article that talks about it or something.
Anyways, you can delete this thread now if you want. It's kind of pointless now lol

The only way it would be possible to grow weed in the dark is if you somehow managed to supply it with chemical energy directly. Even then, the plant would almost certainly not flower in the dark unless it was genetically engineered or something.

Select for a lipidtrophic strain and stabilize it. Then feed with hemp oil made from all your extra male plants. :wtf::wtf:
Hey Khronik, thanks for posting the cool wiki links! Did you just know that off the top of your head, a botanist perhaps?

If only it were that easy.

Well, I did know about parasitic plants that lacked chlorophyll, I just had to look some up. My degree is actually in biomedical engineering, so I've had to take a lot of bio courses. :smokin:Hey Khronik, thanks for posting the cool wiki links!
