Did you transplant it recently from a much smaller pot?
Looks root-bound, and the tips are scorched. If you did not recently transplant it, I would check for stagnant soggy soil near the bottom of the pot due to insufficient drainage, and the the MG soil could be interacting in the wet conditions.

It most certainly will! If you just did it recently, you should be seeing improvements soon, but 6-7 weeks is quite a while to be sitting in the same soil, especially outdoors, exposed to rainfall, which is often acidic and uses up the lime inthe soil. You should consider upgrading to a larger home soon. If you have a way to check the pH of the runoff, do it and post up the numbers- I'll bet they are lower than you'd like to be seeing.
Yup, I remember the strawberry pot. I'm glad the plant is looking so good after that experience!
