QF User Experience. Quest Diagnostics
I had my UA today. (Not my first) Form has 35527N SAP 10-50/300 W/NIT checked. Anyone have details on this particular test?
The test - Very lax environment with some nice air conditioning. He asked if I had any cigs or a lighter and that was it. He did not ask me to empty my pockets. The guy testing me asked to wash my hands and set the cup in the bathroom with the container that the sample goes into. I had the QF at 98ish and I was silent when doing the deed. Nuked it at work for 13 seconds (figured out the perfect time with practice). This brings my QF to 103 in the microwave at work. I then crotched it with a pair of tighty whities or whatever they're called with usual boxers over them. The strip on the QF bottle was always 2 degrees shy of what the sample really was. I did this about 5 minutes before I left work for the test. The test site is blocks away. By the time I was in the waiting room filling out papers I could feel the temp had dropped to my body temp. Perfect.
When I opened the bathroom door after doing the deed he was in the room next to the bathroom on the phone. He asked me to grab the sample from the bathroom and set it on a paper towel that was on some filing cabinets. He was finishing up the paper work and the sample sat for about two minutes then he got up and looked at the temp strip and it was still above 90. I was mad that they didn't check the temp right away but he didn't seem to be too worried about it. He dumped some into the tube and had me initial the sticker on the test tube. He then dumped the excess sample and flushed it. He made a comment about the color and said it looked healthy or something. He made small talk about the heat and asked about were I work and where it was and what not. Overall it wasn't too bad and I controlled my nervousness and was composed.
Thanks everyone for the tips! I know I am good to go. The only concern I had was when he brought the sample out it sat in the sun light through the window for a few moments. Not to worried though because it was not long and I'm sure it would need to sit in direct sun light outside for a good twenty seconds before anything was screwed up in the QF. Thanks Killer and who ever else chimed in to help me out!FaceMcgee Reviewed by FaceMcgee on . QF User Experience. Quest Diagnostics I had my UA today.
