short term storage

hey, im relatively new to smoking and i cam across some good dank in my college town. my brother tried a bit and asked me to get three 8ths for him and bring it home this weekend (about 2 hours away). whats the best way to store it so its in top shape? i wrapped it in aluminum foil for now...is that good for it or possibly bad? any other short term suggestions? i have no mason jars, ziplocks, or airtight sealers. thanks everybody.

Surely it can't be too hard to get a hold of a mason jar or a ziplock, no? If not though, just get something with a smooth, non-adhesive surface that will be easly to brush off the resin and crystal from. Tin foil's not ideal, but it should do the job if packaged carfully. I'd be a little worried about bits of plant matter/ crystal falling out though, seeing as wrapping it in foil isn't exactly air tight.


For future referrence though, mason jars are ideal because they contain the smell very well, and it's easy to brush out the crystal that the weed will innevitably leave on the sides.

and, i should mention, i got each 8th in a little baggie thats rolled up. and then put the three baggies in the foil.
