Ew. If it 'eats roots' you've got a problem big time. Either way, it does block them from exchanging gases, moisture, and nutes. You'll want to do a real good res cleaning after you harvest.

stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . roots excelurator?? anyone got any tips to using this stuff?? i just got some ($ wow!) to treat the beginnings of 'root snot' (brown algae) in dwc. my res temps stay below 75*f. i got 16 days till final flush. im using FF tiger bloom,cal-mag+,EJ micro blast, cha-ching,sm-90. i stopped using the FF big bud cuz i felt it is feeding the algae( its organic). i have flushed the res and refilled with ro water, cal-mag, flora shield. my res' r totally light proof and temps never get over 82*f. i have ruled out 'root Rating: 5
