    Where to exhaust?

Just want your guy's opinion. Will be setting up flower room real soon(4 wide 4 deep 7 high), this big enough with a 600 hps? Another question, have option to vent out old furnace flu or dryer vent, have no neighbors next to me, at least an acre and a half both ways. The only thing i'm worried about the flu is if they were flying over the area using thermal imaging. I don't know, thought i'd ask people their opinion. The flu is probably 5 ft. from where i want to put room, and the dryer vent probably 15ft.

I think 600W would be fine in a 4x4x7 room as long as you have a blower fan providing sufficient ventilation, as well as a good 12 inches distance from the reflector to the tops of the plants. With a smaller light like 400W I think you can get away with 6-12 inches but it might burn them a little with the 600W.
I doubt that it really matters which you choose to be your vent but I might go with the dryer vent because it is farther away from your growspace. I like the idea of displacing some of the noise associated with fans.

Save money on tubing and use the flue. That's what I would do anyway.

Run a carbon filter between the room and the exhaust point.
They aren't allowed to use thermal imaging unless they already have a warrant, in which case you're already in deep doo doo.
Your room size is ideal for that light. Get an air-cooled hood for it though.
In winter, you can flip your exhaust to blow into your home assuming that the filter is working, and use that for heat. We all know heating fuel is precious these days!
