Extreme Vape or Vapor Brothers? Time to make a decision

I think it's a little strange that you're deciding between these two. If you want bag use and whip, it's either the Extreme or the herbalAire IMO. If you don't care about bag use, why consider the $300 Extreme? As for the Vapor Bros, it's overrated IMO. The Vaporwarez Vaporcannon has the same performance with a better price and 5 yrs. warranty against 2 for the VB. The standard Vaporcannon is only $120 from several sellers and you can get a scale and grinder for free. For hands free use in the $150 range, I think the best buy is the Da Buddha, which has the Silver Surfer technology and reliability at a cheaper price.

I had the V-Tower, which is the whip only version of the Extreme. While it's more satisfying than the herbalAire for whip use, the Extreme comes up short for whip satisfaction vs. the standard whip only units like the above mentioned vapes, because the Extreme's air flow is through wider openings, making for less vapor rich hits. Some people like the wider air flow though. To each his own.

You need to decide whether you want bag fill capability, whip use, or both, and narrow your choice from there.

I use to think...you go Volcano...or you dont go at all, but one of my friends just got the extreme vape for his birthday and I would say for the money its a good unit, although I just am not satisfied by vapor alone, i like all the effects you get from the substance not just THC's effects. Even after roasting an eigth in the volcano i take one fat bong toke and im just soaring. But to each his own.

i was ready to get the VB, but found out about the Extreme, thought i might enjoy the bags and it wasnt as expensive as the volcano. Ive used whip style before but not bags. Also with the extreme it could sit out without any questions.

Although I'm happy with the herbalAire for bag use (wouldn't trade it for the 'cano as far as ease of use), the Extreme is the best dual mode choice due to better whip hits. Be aware though that the display on the Extreme doesn't reflect the bowl temp. A good temp range to use on the newest version is 220-240 C, again that's not the actual vaping temp.

If you are looking for an uber quiet vaporizer that has literally no weed smell then you should get a Volcano Vaporizer. There is no vaporizer like this one! It actually fills a bag up with the sweet sweet Vapor and the bag can be carried around and passed with ease. Take just one of these bags down to your face and you will be stoned for hours on end. The Volcano is the Vaporizer that is Found in all of the MMJ dispenseries because it enables one to taste and differentiate betweeen different strains of bud. I vaped with the Volcano this whole past summer just upstairs from my parents room. They never could smell a thing! When little brothers storm in the room they couldn't smell anything! I am selling mine on Ebay at the moment. I have had it for about 6 months, but i must sell it to pay for my move out to California. MMJ Card Here I Come! The link to the Auction is Volcano Vaporizer--Solid Valve System Must See!!! - eBay (item 190266446764 end time Nov-19-08 12:33:11 PST)

thank you for all the great tips, bro. :smokin: I have a vapir one now and was considering going to a whip and was leaning toward vaper bros, but I think I'll give Da Buddha another look.

my vap one can be used in whip mode, just put the fan on the lowest speed, but I've been wondering if a non fan type whip would be better. downside is cleaning i guess. upside is, i'm thinking, a higer vap to air ratio per hit and more time to enjoy each bowl. but i don't know shit about all this stuff, great info on your links tho, especially those videos from Michael and crew :stoned:

i think i'll load the vap now and do some prelim r&d. :stoned:
