 Bangor areaHi everyone!

Just got here from Florida. What a relief to find things are moving fast, here concerning medical MJ. I hope Bangor gets a dispensary going soon. People need it. I, myself have Glaucoma, and I'm not screwing around. I have to find a doctor here who's not close minded.

I think that within a few years, we will join California in being an open-minded and caring state. It's already started. They're scrambling to open several grow facilities right near here ( one of which is in Hermon, I believe, near Dysart's).

Finally some relief is on the horizon! Too many people are suffering side effects from prescriptions, and MJ has NONE of that! I told my last doctor (in Florida), I'm DONE with pills, and he said, "Then, you're on your own..." Great.

I'm so glad the state of Maine cares enough to legalize and create dispensaries so that those of us who suffer from these ills get some relief, without being freakin' CRIMINALS! I'm 54 yrs old, and don't need that stupid reputation of being a "stoner".

 My $.02

Bangor areahey everyone...I'm hoping to get the card myself...I've been on vicodin for YEARS...and I can't stand it...I would rather use cannabis instead...I'm right off stillwater...in the 40 year old range...just wanted to say hello. We the willing, lead by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much for so long with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing.

Bangor areaHope you can get a card. Maine Caregivers is a great source! I talked to them. As soon as I'm registered, they're ready to serve. However. Getting registered (for me) is a very expensive ordeal. I have Glaucoma, as I mentioned.

I gave up. No insurance, a doctor has to send me to an eye specialist, and then come back to him. Gonna cost me more than I have saved. Unemployed, and no car. Not worth it right now.

 Maybe next year.
