Answer any and all you are able. These are all questions that I have come to ask while looking around this site especially in posts comparing 1000W lumens and 600W lumens. I appreciate the help and insight and hope you enjoy the questions.

3) Use flexable ducting, long enough to reach max travel, and a bungee cord to support the middle when slack.
4) The down side is the hassle, appearence etc of #3. Plants will be fine.
5) you need the glass.
6) yes, you still need to provide circulation and exhaust.
7) 80F or even higher will cool down a HPS (they run in the hundreds)

IMO your best bet here is 2 600w HPS fixed, air-cooled, with an exhaust fan and proper ventilation. Hypothetically.
