try apples....like a very thin slice that works too....and if you have a large quanity put it in a tupperware thing with a regular apple slice thing and throw it in the fridge and just pic the buds when you want them....you need to change the peel or slice every day or so wether it's in the fridge or not or it will mildew...it's organic material do you just expect it to stay fresh forever? apples don' tleave a flavor and they are even better because they have alot more water content....
