Hey i was thinking of making a huge bong from PVC pipe. As you know it is plastic. But that part wouldnt get hot, so it doesnt matter right?

yeah, i made a great bong out of a Graduated Cylinder i robbed from science class and some pvc tubing. U can attach a bowl to it or just stick a joint in the tube.

Dont use pvc cos when this burns you're going to get poisonus gas forming.
Plus the bongs you buy are made from acrillic and the cone which heats up does'nt make contact with the acrillic.

i made a bong like a month ago and i fucked up cause i used some adhesive taht you use for modeling cars...anyway it tasted like shit (cement stuff) so i got rid of it

I was gonna make a bong toady, but I forgot that we don't have any caulking in the house. All i found was this elemrs glue all squeeeze n caulk shit. It says non toxic, but i don't know if thet necessarily means that it is safe for tokin with. It also doesn't really say wetehr or not it is heat resistant.
I thought of doing the pvc thig too, but I have this cup that I go years agowhen I was younger, from Red Robin. It looks sort of liek a lab beaker or something. I jsut have to find something to make a good bowl with. I was thinking just pure aluminum foil, but I'm not sure if that is safe or not.

If anybody was wondering what a good sealing agent is... I use JB Weld. it is used for holding metal pieces together, acctually i just used it for my bong made from a 2 1/2 foot graduated cylider from my school science lab haha. you can find JB Weld at your local hardware store for like 2 bucks i think<----not sure cuz i bought mine like 3 years ago. last forever.
