Everybody has to die sometime. I would hope that the family and friends are not taking it too hard and my condolences are with them. It is always a stressful and rather draining experience to lose a loved one. Remember how this person lived, not how they died. And peace be upon her.

Thank you for letting us know, Torog. I appreciate your taking the time to do that here. We hadn't seen her in a long, long time, and I'm awfully sorry to hear the news. Hope her family is doing OK.
For those of you who didn't know Classicat, she was one of our former "cafe" members, a special designation of frequent, active board members that no longer exists, but it essentially meant she was a regular. She was a medicinal cannabis user for some type of pain, but I don't remember her specific illness and wouldn't want to betray her privacy anyway. Classicat was always kind and courteous to other members, someone who reflected well on cannabis users and advocates. May she rest in peace and comfort.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

I hear tell, that there's an effort underway,to name a Star after her..which would be really cool !
Here's an addy for the Star Registry:
