This is the way I understand the physics of mass and energy

Mass and energy are one in the same, they can be interchangeable (this is how the A-bomb works)
--types of energy:
â?¢Heat
â?¢Electric
â?¢atomic

Secondly, sound and light are both "waves" that are created by releases of energy

So here's a couple of things that you could do (theoretically of course)

1.) a.) You could transform the heat energy within an area into any solid of your choice
------you know like in the cartoons, if you think hard enough about a screw it will appear

b.) You could do the exact same thing by extracting the chem-electric energy from a battery

c.) Or lastly you could drop an atomic bomb and transform all of the energy released durring the chemical decomposition into whatever you wanted (thus creating the ultimate defense against the A-bomb, without the energy it's just a free-falling rock)

2.) a.) You could heat your house the economy style by turning your useless "garage sale" items into heat energy!!!

b.) You could also turn those useless items into electric energy to power your electronics!

c.) If your looking to dig a hole for say a backyard pool or perhaps you need to install an egressed window in your basement you could turn your useless items into atomic energy by transforming the objects into energy, then redistribute that energy into making Uranium 125 and then splitting it to cause a small explosion to create a crater!!!!! (A little complicated, but "theoretically" it could work)

3.) You could communicate using the transformation of "mass" to "energy", then create a wave with that energy with simple objects such as a box of kleenex or a bar of soap...

4.) *this one's confusing* Since light is an energy carrying wave you could theoretically redirect that light energy back into a solid (the sun would be a great resource for this) and then use that solid for whatever you wanted...

5.) The last thing I can think of is one I can't "theoretically" explain because I don't see how you could transfer one mind's "thought" (which is basically just a formulation of electrical pulses) to another mind silently without some sort of path that anyone could hear if they walked through it...

But to sum this all up, this is all impossible because it requires an incredibly inaccessible amount of energy to transform solid into energy and thus that is why the atomic bomb is so devastating.
