no dank smell?

i got a few buds curing, all smell great when squeezed a bit but not when i open the jar. does that dank smell come with more curing? this is a first attempt, so i am not sure how it all plays out.

Depends on the strain and stuff... but yeah, it'll have that plant/grassy/hay smell at first when drying (chlorophyl screaming as it dies or something like that) then after a few weeks you'll notice it getting danker.
